Holligan Building Services were contacted by our client to design and convert a building containing a coffee shop, country store and cookery school which was no longer in use.
This project included:
- Design new layout of building
- Complete strip out of existing building
- Add new windows and doors
- Alter existing internal walls
- Construct new internal dividing walls
- Rewire
- Re plumb with 5 new en-suite shower rooms
- Plaster all internal walls and ceilings
- Installation of new pressurised central heating and hot water system
- Installation of wooden floors throughout
- Tiling of all shower rooms
- Painting and decorating
The objective of this project was to add 5 new comfortable en-suite bedrooms to a thriving bed and breakfast business which needed more space. The bedrooms had to be to a hotel standard to complement the rest of the main house.
The rooms were to be self contained but still feel like they were part of the main house by continuing the theme of the main house into these rooms.
All rooms were to be fitted with thermostatic power showers and quality shower doors.
The project was completed on time and within budget for the client.
